Selina has over 15 years of experience in Commercial Finance and Banking, where her career has refined her skills in financial strategy, risk management & budgeting. This knowledge has helped Selina enable financial stability for everyday people and businesses. However, in her personal time, she has a passion for travel and a genuine zest for life where she loves to expose herself to new people & diverse cultures to broaden her perspective and fulfil her curiosity.
Demmi works as the executive assistant to CEO Peter Townley at TGI Cargo. Demmi’s experience comes from the Australian Defence Force where she spent seven years in finance and administration. Here she was able to develop her management skills by actively contributing to the organisational efficiency and adaptability of various teams. Alongside her professional career, Demmi is fuelled by her passion and curiosity and shows a genuine interest in understanding what motivates and inspires people.

Proficient in a wide array of roles, including Business Development, Account Management, Office Management, Sales, Commercial, Customer Service, Documentation, Operations, Procurement, Human Resources, and Scheduling, Natalie currently serves as a Senior Business Development Manager in Sales. As TGI Cargo’s General Manager with over a decade of experience spanning defence, communications, and leadership, Jess brings a wealth of expertise to this role. This background has equipped her with essential strategic planning, risk management, and decision-making skills while fostering strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities. What interests Jess is the uniqueness of individuals, their diverse skill sets, and the experiences that shape them. This deep understanding of the strengths and backgrounds of her team members enables her to optimise their potential. With significant experience in the transport and logistics sector for over 30 years, Deanne has worked in shipping line agencies and freight forwarding. Tahlee is the Operations Coordinator, and she has over 16 years of experience in freight forwarding with significant companies like BAX Global, DB Schenker and DHL Global Forwarding. Her expertise lies in air and ocean logistics, skillfully overseeing the seamless handling of diverse cargo for clients, ensuring a smooth transit for various goods. Beyond Tahlee’s professional career, she values connections and engaging conversations, and she enjoys continuously learning from others and fostering valuable relationships.
With over 17 years of experience in the freight industry, Dominique excels in her role of liaising connections between customers, carriers, overseas partners, and service providers. Her expertise spans import and export inquiries, overseeing shipments from inception to completion, and even managing domestic moves when necessary. Dominique is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction through swift and efficient responses. Notably, she has dedicated 15 years to import operations and customer service before briefly serving as an import operations manager in 2020. Beyond logistics, Dominique is passionate about delving into meaningful conversations that explore the inner thoughts, goals, and dreams of others.
Michaela’s role as the finance administrator is to oversee the day-to-day accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable. With over 12 years of experience in the Freight Industry, her journey began at the reception desk, gradually gaining expertise across various facets. Michaela transitioned to the import department, handling air and sea freight operations. Her career took an exciting turn when she discovered a passion for accounts, prompting a full-time shift to this domain. She says she is an open book and keenly interested in learning about people, delving into their lives, families, hobbies, and past experiences. She finds their personal stories genuinely captivating.

Taylor ventured into the procurement sector within the oil and gas industry, honing her skills in supply chain management. As a partner in the Customer Relations Department, Taylors’ career journey has been shaped by diverse experiences. She is deeply intrigued by how individuals find their way into various industries, whether defence, oil and gas or other sectors; Taylor enjoys learning about their unique career paths and motivations.
Hannah serves as the personal assistant to TGI Cargo’s CEO, Peter Townley, where she adeptly handles routine management and navigation tasks, utilising strong communication and problem-solving skills in day-to-day duties. Hannah’s motivation stems from her curiosity where she is constantly seeking new learning opportunities in collaborative settings. Beyond Hannahs professional work, she is currently studying psychology and law, demonstrating a keen interest in comprehending behavioral patterns and legal principles. She finds fulfillment in dissecting intricate concepts and frameworks applicable to sharpening critical problem-solving skills in her academic coursework.
